Privacy policy

Eat Sleep Breathe FI does not collect any personal information about its visitors except standard traffic logs automatically generated by the web server, and anything deliberately left as a comment by the visitors. I will never sell or voluntarily disclose personal information or email addresses.

1. Email Addresses

If you signed up via the subscription form to receive emails from us, then we will have your email address. Other than the name provided and email address, we do not retain any other information about the individuals on our email subscriber list. We have no way of knowing your location from that email address.

Users can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time using the unsubscribe link up at the bottom of every email. Our servicer is Mailchimp. We store your name and email address for purposes of delivering such communications. Please refer to Mailchimp’s privacy policy for further information.

Except when required by law, we will not sell, distribute, or reveal your email addresses or other personal information without your consent; however, we may disclose or transfer personal information collected through the website to third parties who acquire all or a portion of our business, which may be the result of a merger, consolidation, or purchase of all or a portion of our assets, or in connection with any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding brought by or against us.

Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare in order to optimize the speed and performance of this site. Cloudflare uses a first-party cookie to to identify individual clients behind a shared IP address and apply security settings on a per-client basis. It does not correspond to any user ID in your web application, and does not store any personally identifiable information. Click here for more info. 

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure traffic. Google uses several first-party cookies to: distinguish unique users, remember the number and time of previous visits, remember traffic source information, determine the start and end of a session, and remember the value of visitor-level custom variables. Click here for more info.

Google Adsense

We feature ads from Google Adsense to help with the costs of running this blog. In order to run Adsense ads, Google places a third-party cookie on this site to track click-throughs. On its own, this data can tell Doubleclick how many times you have seen an ad and, for example, whether you need to see the UK or US version. 3. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

4. Contact Forms

When visitors to the website utilize our contact form, a name, email address, subject line, and message are used to create an email which is sent to the administrator of this website. Other than the created email, the data is not recorded in any other way.

5. Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

6. Google Analytics 

We use this analytics data (Google) to learn more about our readers and what kind of content they enjoy.

Data

Other than Google Analytics and all public blog comments, we do not share your data with anyone. If this policy ever changes, it will be reflected here.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

The website does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. If a parent or guardian believes that the website has personally identifiable information of a child under the age of 16 in its database, please contact us immediately and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
